(for ~Secret-Sandy-Claws's SS project. All the slots are full from what I hear though, sorry!)

I'm listed as an Anthro/Critter artist, and I don't really know which character to choose!
You see, many of my characters are mostly human in anatomy and appearance, with only ears and a tail "tacked on." I am uncertain whether or not the others in my category are comfortable with this, so I will avoid using them and only list the "true" anthros and critters.

Ahem...
Dear secret santa,

I've been a very good little Deviant this year, and I would love it if you could send someone to do art of the characters in this journal.
Please oh please bring me some lovely art of one of these guys!

ANTHROS

FEMALES:

Sheila would be nice! (She's my OC)
Here are a few pictures of her:
[link]
[link] (the one in the middle, lol)

Personality: she's quiet and very kind, especially to animals, but she's also very in shape due to the nature of her job. (she's kinda like a mix between a zookeeper and a park ranger)

MALES:
I... I DON'T HAVE ANY MALE ANTHROS! D: ...but you know what would be especially awesome? If you could draw my favorite anthropomorphic character EVER: Pinstripe, from the Crash Bandicoot series.

Ref: [link] (I thought it would be easier to link to someone's art on DA, since all his "official art" is from the days of PS1, making it hard to make out some details)
And a Wiki article, just for general information: [link]

... Wow I feel like a major furry for that. XD I need to come up with a male anthro of my own one of these days...

IF YOU PREFER QUADS OVER ANTHROS:
(since this category also includes "critters" )

FEMALES:
My lovely friend =criticallyconfused just made me a new fursona. If you could draw her in a Santa hat or wearing a scarf or something that would be cool, too!
Ref: [link]

MALES:
Hmmm... Well there's my Montre from the petsite Subeta!
Here's his ref: [link]

Oh, and people always seem to find my zombie raccoon characters interesting. You might want to do them!

So I hope I did this right and gave you enough variety, Santa! Thank you so very much in advance!!

Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain
Why the early bird gets the worm
Life isn’t always fair,

and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.
Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

He declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an Aspirin to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home without the burglar suing you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers: I Know My Rights; I Want It Now; Someone Else Is To Blame; and I’m A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Just a brief reminder that the design me a new fursona contest is ending soon.
Currently I have one person's entry.
That was a very intense contest indeed. :|
/sarcasm

If anyone is still interested, you can check my previous journal for information.
And thanks to Michelle for actually entering.

I'm fairly sure I don't have that many active watchers, but it's okay. I'll do it anyway.

SO I kinda want a new fursona, and it's up to YOU GUYS to design one! What do you get in return? An epic request by me, of course.

Here's the deal:

I want something that looks like both a fox and a wolf. The colors can be anything, but I'd prefer the animals' natural color schemes. There are not any really fancy details or accessories, just a black leather collar with a round silver tag. (modeled after my own, of course)

Patterns, markings, anything else is all up to you! I'm not a very picky person, hehe.

You can use anything in my gallery to help you: pictures of me, my old fursona's reference, whatever. If you need anything else at all, please feel free to message me.

Right now I'm shooting for the deadline being September 20th, but I know a lot of people are about to go back to school, including myself, so I will grant extensions if they're needed.

I hope to get some response to this! Thank you and good luck.

Yep, Italy was great, but it's good to be back. I'm also in the mood for drawing and still in need of cash, so with all the free time I'll have this summer I've decided to start taking commissions again.

If you don't want/can't afford once, could you please spread the word for me? Many thanks.

I'm so bad at organizing these journals. But it's hard because a lot of what I do changes with the individual that I'm doing the art for. But here are the basics, I guess.

*I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 to do my commissions

*Currently I'm only accepting payment through my PayPal. (unless of course I'll be seeing you at some point this summer) After I finish the image, I'll send the watermarked copy to you along with my e-mail. Once I get the payment, I'll give you the non-watermarked image.

Fully Colored and Shaded w/ Background - 20$
Although in most cases I can only do a background if you suggest one.

Examples:

Coloring and Shading no Background - 15$
Or you could just ask for something simple as the bg, or even transparent or a flat color.

Flat Colors Simple or no Background - 10$
Or I could transparent the background for you or add a flat color or a very simple design instead.

CHIBIS! Colored, Shaded, Simple BG - 10$
If you don't want shading, I'll only charge 8$

And finally, a bit of a special category...
Pokemon Team Portraits - 10$
I only have one example, but I thought I'd offer it anyway, because I'm pretty good at Pokeymanz. ;)

Spread the word for me, okay?
